The four main stars of Chico and the Man have their own stars on the Walk of Fame.
Jack Albertson (Ed Brown) on February 28, 1977. It’s interesting to note that the ceremony was held one month after Albertson tragically lost his co-star, Freddie Prinze. According to a picture of the event, I noticed that series creator, James Komack was in attendance. No word whether Scatman Crothers or Della Reese were there. If you know, please let me know.
Scatman Crothers (Louie Wilson) on April 8, 1981. According to Crothers’ biography, James Komack was there for that ceremony as well. This would have been a few years after Chico and the Man was cancelled.
Della Reese (Della Rogers) on July 12, 1994. By this point, Prinze, Albertson and Crothers were all gone. No word on if Komack attended the ceremony for this one.
Freddie Prinze (Chico Rodriguez) on December 14, 2004. Della Reese was there and even gave a speech, as did Freddie Prinze, Jr. and George Lopez. James Komack had already passed by this point.
