The episode where the boys set the barrel hoops out for Lumpy was so funny. I think it's hilarious when Beaver very matter of factly tells Ward about how they yelled out for "meathead" and Mr. Rutherford came running out.

I've noticed more in these first season episodes that June really was somewhat outspoken. She got a little angry at times and would speak her mind, at least in her own June sort of way. I knew that she was more reserved in later seasons, but I'd forgotten just how often she expressed emotion in these early shows.

Peace ~

Yeah, I like that part too. Except, Fred's wife's name isn't Geraldine in the other episodes, it's Gwendolyn. Which name do you like best? I like Gwendolyn better b/c I like her nick name of Gwen.:)

Yes, you're right about the names - hadn't realized that.
I like Gwendolyn better, too. Wonder why some shows changed the names of characters and such?

Just a guess on my part, but I think we have different writers coming in and they don't have time to refer back to the older episodes to see what one of the minor characters name was. What was her name again? It was something with a G. Okay, since we can't remember we'll just give her a new 'G' related name.
