the external DVD drive to the laptop

i am having the hardest time trying to get a DVD to play. I thought once I plugged the DVD into the laptop and put the DVD in all I had to do was hit play.

So I do see the title of the Jeffersons showing when I click This PC. And then when I click on the DVD to watch it I see this below

AUDIO TS
VIDEO TS

Then I click on video and expect to start watching the show and then I see this

Video TS
VTS O1
VTS 02
VTS 03

I didnt think it would be this complicated.

Im sorry buddy...

Have you tried using a USB-C cable?

Those are plug and play so you should easily be able to hook it in..

Download VLC Player, it's a free program that plays files and DVDs.

https://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Once downloaded and installed, right click on the video_ts folder. It should play like a DVD.
