I was wondering did anyone know how I could find TV Guide articles about CATM during the mid-70's. I think Eddie Prinze was on the cover of TV Guide in 1974 and it would be wonderful if I could read that feature story. I guess you can say I'm a big fan of 70's sitcoms.

Solomon I would search in Ebay to locate any TV Guide Magazines. Look under "Chico and the Man" or "Freddie Prinze". Good Luck!

I think a copy of some of them might be on one of the Freddie sites like one of the MSN sites, maybe the ED BROWNS GARAGE One. Good luck! :)

Hi Solomon,

I just recently sold all three of my Chico and the Man-Freddie Prinze TV GUIDES, one from October, 1974, one from March, 1975, and one from March, 1976. I got them from dealers and I just bought another one off EBAY. I see them on there quite often, and always reasonably priced.
The 1975 issue was on there the other day and just bought. EBAY would be the place to get what you're looking for. Best of Luck...

A couple of unusual things about the C&TM TV Guide issues...
The March 1975 issue, which has a Hirshfeld painting of Prinze and Albertson, states incorrectly that it covers programming for March 1-8, instead of March 1-7. As far as I know, that's the only time in its history that TV Guide has made that type of error on its cover.
The March 1976 issue, dated March 13, with Albertson, Prinze, and Scatman Crothers on the cover, was the issue on sale the week that Freddie Prinze, Jr., was born. Freddie, Jr., was born Monday, March 8, and the issue appeared for sale a day or two later.
