A lot of people I know start putting their Christmas decorations up on the 1st of December put personally I think that's too early, When do you normally put up the decorations?

Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving. Kind of early I know but that's when I start getting into the Christmas mood.

Thanksgiving weekend or sometime beginning of December.

The day after Thanksgiving. It isn't too early. I love Christmas. I keep Christmas lights up in my room all year around.

Our house is done decorated. The tree is up and the lights are up outside.

December 1, well that's when my room get's decor. The rest of the house in the next week or two.

Like 3 weeks b4 christmas but i always insist on buying christmas cookies and candy canes and stuff b4 thanxgiving

For me, it's always the day after Thanksgiving. Christmas always comes so fast that you mine as well enjoy it.

Day after Thanksgiving.....

Here in the US, usually the first Saturday before Dec 1st, which would make it Nov 30th this year. Then we take it down like a week after New Year's Day.

But back in the old country, we wouldn't decorate until Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve, the males of the family would go out to the woods (It's right behind our house) to look for a Christmas tree. Then either the dad or the grandad would chop down the tree and would bring it to the house. While they are out, the women would go to the attic and bring down all the ornaments, lights, candles, and the other decorations and bring them down into the kitchen. When the men got back, everyone would decorate the tree. After that, we'd all go to midnight mass. It usually stays up until Feb 2nd, the feast of the Virgin Mary.

My dad did our outside ones this weekend and my mom decorated our downstairs tree yesterday. We're prolly gonna do our big tree this weekend. I wanna decorate my room.

lol Well we don't get it til Christmas Eve. About the same amout of time if you get it in late November and get rid of it in early January.

I have so many decorations, it takes me 2 days. I'll put them out the weekend after Thanksgiving.

I usually start the day after Thanksgiving. I use to start on Dec. 1 but, now I start after Thanksgiving........ present:

we get our tree (the plastic ones) beginning of dec. but, we usually put the decorations on it the weekend we get out for winter break. which is like the second week of dec.

My family puts ours up in November. As a matter of fact, my parents started yesterday. I think it is better to put them up early so that you don't decorate in December and take them all down after a few weeks, especially if you have a lot of decorations (like we do)

We dont have a specific date. Usually the first of second week of December. Id love to do it earlier, but parents dont! LOl

one house on our block already has their decorations up (theyve been up for like a week already)which i think is stupid.

We used to always do it sometime in December but we started early this year. Our Christmas tree is already up and so are some of our lights. My mom is having me go outside and help put up more lights today. :(

We do ours within a week after Thanksgiving....no later than like the 5th of Dec.
