In my box of music I found my copy of Santana's Supernatural and I remember when that album came out and little did people know that it would break records around the world for getting the most Grammy Awards in 1999 and 2000 and it scored hits like the Rob Thomas hit Smooth and my favorite song of the Supernatural album Maria Maria and I think Carlos Santana was very proud of how Supernatural would go in history as the top selling album of 1999. I remember wanting this album for Christmas and I never got it but then when I went to a thrift store I finally found a copy of Supernatural and bought it and I was amazed with it and it was my very first Santana album I owned. Little did we also know the same thing would happen with Santana's album Shaman in 2003. Do you remember when Santana's Supernatural album was the top selling album of 1999 and did you ever own a copy of the album yourself?

I think that when Santana released Supernatural in 1999 Carlos Santana had a vision to expand Santana's horizons and focus between a mix of R&B rock and pop because that was the music genres that was huge at the time. And when you look at it I think Carlos Santana was very proud of how well this album performed and with Supernatural it proved the third time was indeed a charm for Santana. My uncle used to have Santana records and after I got Supernatural I bought Santana's Greatest Hits and I was amazed at Carlos Santana's awesome guitar playing and no other group had a sound like Santana's. I hope when the next Santana album debuts in the future it will be just as successful as Supernatural was

I also think with Supernatural Santana was hoping to make a strong comeback and with this album it proved it and when I heard Maria Maria for the first time I liked the beat of the song. And it amazes me that Carlos Santana has gone on to be a successful businessman with his charity and fashion line Carlos By Carlos Santana and thanks to Supernatural's success this album made Santana successful again
