Okay, what did I miss?
Just flew in from Tampa and boy, are my arms tired, hope everyone behaved themselves while I was gone.
Tampa was fun, not as warm as I had hoped it would be, but we had a few days of 70 degree temps. Also Tampa is really spread out, this city boy is used to living on a small island, but luckily we had a car.
Myself, my roomie, our friend Arizona Steve who flew in for the trip stayed at this amazing bed and Breakfast called "Gram's Place." it's kind of like a rock n roll museum with music themed rooms, a great deck, hot tub. A really cool place to stay, highly recommended. I'll post the web address so you can check it out.
We spent most of our time hanging out in Ybor City, which is this big shopping district with tons of bars and clubs (yeah, we did a lot of drinking. Where do you think I was, Church?)
We took a side trip to Busch Gardens on Saturday, and that place kicked a$$! If you ever get there, ride the "Montu" as many times as you can!
Of course, the highlight was the Bruce Springsteen show last night! What an amazing show! He played a lot of songs from his new album plus some oldies - including "Badlands." I thought I was going to cry.
So happy to be back in Manhattan! Now I can relax...
