One day last week I visited Jose Feliciano's web site (which is really KOOL by the way!) and wrote him a letter telling him how my family and I enjoyed his music and how much his CATM theme song meant to me. I did this never expecting to get a response. But just this morning I recieved an e-mail from his wife telling me how much they enjoyed my letter and thanked me for writing. Then the letter went on to kind of explain what Jose had in mind when he wrote the song and how saddened he was by Freddie's death.
This was the highlight of my day, to say the least and I intend to post this letter on my site soon. I've been having some trouble with my service kicking me off line and if I'm in the middle of posting this and it kicks me off...then I will loose the information. So I don't want to take that chance right now. Thanks for sharing your letter with us! They do seem like a very caring couple and I'm glad you had the opportunity to tell them that many people still are interested in their well-being.
I only wish I could get some type of response from F.P. Jr. Even if it's that he's not interested in responding to his dad's fans or just anything! I asked if he knew of any contact person that could answer some questions about his grandma Maria and his father. I told him about this message board and his dad's many, many fans. I also told him we all wished him much success and we were all following his career too. I just want a simple answer but it doesn't look like I'm going to get one. Such a difference between F.P. Jr. and the Feliciano's.

I sure hope that Freddie Jr. sends you some kind of response Copycat. It may just take time. You know how those big celebs are...all their mail goes from one person to another...then to another.
