Then you make it available for download on Kazaa. I have the ATI Radeon video capture card. It has a program that allows me to use my sound card's analog inputs to capture the sounds from a TV show or video. Then the sound and picture are combined and saved as a movie file. The compression sux though. A 30 sec movie file takes up 18 MB of disk space! DetectiveGriffin 11-26-2002, 02:45 PM yes, i have most of happy days episodes as mpeg files and made into video cds, and each one without commercials is pretty much 222 MB. Think of how long that would take to download with a 56 modem! :) A lot of people are turning their files into divx - real compressed - but the same file can be around 40 MB. I don't have the program to do this with, but I have thought about turning some happy days eps into divx files for people to download -- thing is, all the stuff my brother and I share already, no one else seems to share. We have several rare cartoons, etc, and we never see them out there. :( I do want to mess with that program one day - I want to put all the eps of different shows that are being skipped up there for people to snag. That would be cool. |
