This week we are diving deep into every 90s kids favorite movie featuring 4 mutated teenage turtles who also practice Karate - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie
Directed by Steve Barron, this movie really has no business going as hard as it does. Not only does it capture the dark and gritty tone of the comments and marries it with the light hearted kid friendly adventures of the animated series, but it also jut looks incredible. This movie uses shadows and hard lighting to create a grittiness that is sort of surprising to see in a movie about anthropomorphic turtles that live with a rat in a sewer and practice karate in their spare time.
