I forgot all about Peter's mom. That's true they never showed her.

I never even thought about that. I never remember seeing a episode when it was one of the kids birthday. NEVER-LOL

7. Clair or Cliff's car

The opening of the first season shows the Huxtables exiting a van. I assumed that was one of the parent's vehicles.

Clair actually be wrong about anything. She was the worst part of TCS.

The interesting part about Sondra was that she didn't exist until the 2nd or 3rd season.

Yes she did, she showed up in the first season Bonjour Sondra!, Clair's Case, The Younger Woman, Cliff's Birthday, and was mentioned in Breaking With Tradition.

I remember Sabrina saying that she was not originally part of the show when she was interviewed on a talk show. So I guess she was added mid season?

Claire was in the Courtroom when she was defending Sondra.

Yes that was the episode when Claire was in the courtroom. When Sondra was ripped by the auto mechanic

That would be the guy. We saw both of Elvin's parents on the episode where Sondra gave birth to the twins, BTW.

It's not that she was never wrong, it's just Cliff letting her think she's always right! LOL!! Anyways, I loved Clair in the show and all the other characters. Definitely a fairy tale show, but I got alot of my ways for bringing up my son from that show. Some work and some don't. I'll try anything to be a fair parent and friend to my son.

They did have a birthday episode in SEASON 6 Episode #140 "THE BIRTHDAY PARTY" for Olivia's 5th Bday. Denise made "healthy alternative food" with meatless hamburgers and tofu cake. The kids though were looking for Olivia's tricycle in the basement and found Cliff/Claire's Chocolate bday cake instead and ate it.

Could be wrong or could have been mentioned and I missed it but I dont recall seeing anyone graduate from school.
I know that Theo and Vanessa graduated during the course of the show but you never saw it. And the final ep didnt show the grad only them leaving and coming home from it.

While there was no "real full theme" for Christmas with the entire episode evolving around it, there was a mention in an episode where Clair gets her own room that Rudy is getting ready to bake Christmas cookies. Yes, I often wondered why such a family show never created an entire Christmas episode. Considering there are other family shows that did (Full House, Family Matters, Step by Step, Growing Pains, etc), it made me wonder why. My guess is that the writers, or even Cosby himself, didn't want a celebration centered around a holiday. Of course, Thanksgiving was one episode that was based entirely on a holiday..... Makes me wonder.... :confused:

7. Clair or Cliff's car

Actually, Cliff and Clair's cars DO appear. In one episode "An Early Spring" where they are outside of the house a lot, in one scene Rudy is riding her bike to the left and you can see in the driveway Cliff or Clair's car. And in the first season opening they all get out of a van, supposedly the other car. There you go. ;)

actually,it was olivia's 4th birthday...:) !!!well,yeh there wasn't a birthday ep for the huxtable kids,that's right!!!i was wondering too y there wasn't a christmas ep...jus the one where clair got her own room,but that ep wasn't really about christmas!but i guess bill cosby,or the writters had their reasons y there wasn't a christmas ep!!!well,u knosLOL:D

Yeah i didn't the point of constantly hearing about Kenny's brother and we never got to see him atleast come to the Huxtable House to pick up Kenny.

no i t wasnt a birthday party in that ep they were having a video get together for rudy and her pals and later in the ep she gives her mom and dad a list of things she's not allowed to do and so her parents let her stay up to teach her a lesson

the point was comedic mystery.
it would be pretty annyoing to me if one day kenny's deadbeat loser brother showed up and sat in one of the chairs by the couch across from clair e and he was to start expressing some of his sexist views that he shares with kenny and claire were to tell him off like she does a few other male characters in the show.
it was better o have him constantly refer to his brother always being broke and all his brothers' theories on women and how the world works with kenny's "well, my brother says"than to actually have a character for him on the show

Cliff is never actually shown with the mothers going in labor's their babies. Mrs. Westlake had a baby, but never showed her holding the baby.

Clair actually doing something with the twins and talking to them. Cliff is shown talking to them more then Clair. The most you see her talking to them was in Theo's Graduation. Explaining to them about Graduation gowns.

You never saw any of the kids holding the twins when they were babies. Except for Rudy in Cliff babysits and Rudy and Vanessa in the ep when Sondra is sick with a flu. And one more when Denise is babysitting them. Theo is never shown holding them or even talking to them.

What about Peter and Stanely in the final eps of The Cosby Show. Wouldn't atleast Stanely want to go and Congraduat Theo? After all Kenny did. And why didn't Peter say congraduations? We even see Charmaine and Lance in the auidenice but Peter knew Theo way longer then they did.

Clair's room is never mentioned again except for Some Gifts aren't Deductable, she brings it up. But other then that you never see Cliff saying oh your mom is in her room.

How is Olivia going to travel to where Denise and Martian is? That was never explained she is to young to travel along.

you never see Cliff excusing himself from dinner because he has to make a run. He is always is sleeping of just sitting in the living room when he gets a call

Cliff never has a woman in labor with twins or more. Except in if the dress fits Clair mentions him delivering twins

In Theo's graduation Cliff kept saying to Clair "Two daughters and now a son graduating" Wait didn't Denise quit college in season five and just started to go back in season Six or Seven? Actually it is just one daughter Sondra and Theo. Vanessa is still in college in this season. Either they forgot about the story with Denise or she did finish college but they never brought it up.

You never see Clair dusting or vaccuming the house. The closest is in Rudy's walk on the wildside, but she was looking for lost money

the kids never get sick with anything except Sondra and Rudy got a case of the flu

Did the dress that Clair wore in if the Dress fits, did she wear that in the first season in Physician of the Year? It sure looks alot like it.

What happened with Theo and the kids at the community center. It is mentioned in a few eps then it is never mentioned again. Did Theo quit the job that soon?

You never see Clair doing anything fun with the girls. It is always Ciff and Theo playing basket ball. But Clair is never shown doing fun girl type things except for shopping. The closest is Denise and her had pottery class in Close to Home. And Rudy and Clair watched a movie in one eps. How about Clair reading 5 year old Rudy a bedtime story. Or brushing Vanessa's hair. Maybe even getting a facial done with Denise.
