What are some examples of a band whose biggest hit was NOT with their best-known lineup or from a lineup other than the most famous?

The Sawyer Brown band has three #1 songs. Their first was when their original lead guitar player was with them. Their other two were after their lead guitar player was replaced. That lead guitar replacement player is no longer in the band. Their current lead guitar player is their third lead guitar player.
