On Catm Chico is almost always trying to persuade Ed that drinking is bad for him.
Just for immagination sake what do you think Chico would say to Freddie about his drug use and drinking?

Peko, I agree with you wholeheartedly. He would have stuck by his friend no matter what. I think he would have taken whatever measures were necessary to get his friend the help he needed.

Chico always impressed me with his eternal optimism. I feel he would have said to Freddie, "Hey Man, you have so much going for yourself, so much to live for. Why the
h*@# are you messing with that poison?" I see him bringing up their proud Hispanic heritage and love for his Mom and son. I do not think he would have ever turned his back on Freddie or facilitate his getting the substances that were harming him.

Chico would of gotten Freddie help no matter what it took even if he had to lock him in the bathroom and called for help.

I think Chico would've tried to help him anby way he could. Chico seems like such a nice guy. Too bad he wasn't a real person...
