Small Wonder (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031125314/http://www.jumptheshark.com/s/smallwonder.htm) (1985): 15 Weird Facts You Didn't Know

Remember when a robot girl in a red pinafore somehow became one of the strangest icons of ‘80s television. Before Alexa, Siri, or M3GAN, there was Vicki from Small Wonder (https://web.archive.org/web/20140406110024/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/3122587-small-wonder/?view=getnewpost) — the monotone android played by Tiffany Brissette who slept in a kitchen cabinet, ran on atomic power, and convinced an entire generation of Gen X kids that this was perfectly normal sitcom behavior. Along the way, the show gave us almost-cast appearances from Seth Green and Candace Cameron Bure, an evil twin robot named Vanessa, and one of the weirdest non-endings in TV history. Critics hated it. Kids loved it. And honestly? Forty years later, we’re still trying to process the fact that Vicki had a serial port under her arm.
