Someone told you one day that analog is always better than digital. It sounded cool and smart to you, so you latched onto it like a fish latches onto a worm. There’s never any substance to your arguments about it; just a lot of “old man yells at cloud” energy.

I upgraded to HD 21 years ago and never missed CRT since. Not once. And a lot of what I watch on my 4K QLED TV is stuff that predates digital, and it usually looks great.

You’re missing out on a lot by being so contrarianly stubborn in your “contemporary is bad” attitude.

And I mean the man who was the repairman before actor Gordon Jump was (I'm sorry I can't remember the actor's name right now). Gordon Jump took over as the Maytag repairman when the actor they had before that died. Gordon Jump is of course best known for playing the radio station manager on the sitcom WKRP In Cincinnati.
