Season 8 really improved from season 7. I rated season 8 episodes an average of 7.7 out of 10 up from 5.7.

Mostly had excellent chemistry.

Even with some recycled themes the episodes managed some decent humor and entertainment value.

Some memorable episodes with Harris and Arnold Ripner battling it out. Lugers gorgeous mail order bride was fun.

The landmark ending I thought hit a home run.

"Stress Analyzer" is one of my favorites in the whole series.

It wasn't like Dick van Dyke or The Odd Couple, where they closed down at peak, but they were still very enjoyable to the end. The "turn out the lights" finale was still fresh enough that it hadn't become cliche, yet
