I like them. they're not my favorite tho. I like alot of older bands, I just dont list them in my top 10 because chances are they're never gonna release another album and so its kinda over for them. I like all kinds of music, yes Avril's music is pop but that doesn't change the fact that she is punk. And acutally Avril does have rock in her music in Losing Grip, Unwanted, Naked, etc but she doesn't have punk music and neither does GC.

Dressing "punk" is a style. You dont have to make punk music/listen to punk to dress a certain way. I know people who dress in Abercrombie clothes, and listen to acid punk. Labels suck.

I don't know, I know alot about her so I'd know... Avril said she was a skater in highschool (11th and thats it) but I don't know, it seems like she just wore baggy skater clothes and wore her hair in braids but she always did that. I don't know her personally so I have no idea.

what I mean (to timmy87 or 86 or... WHATEVER) is that if you look at some of her very first press photos shes wearing some slightly trendy things. Like that picture of her scratching her head. And in her CD cover theres an old pic of her and shes wearing this little... thing with lace and spegetti strap bra things and... yeah. And in one article she was talking about how she was a "sk8er" in the 9th grade and everyone made fun of her but if you look at her pics from the 9th grade she is the epitome of... not punk. I mean she MIGHT have been punk before she got the record deal, but she is trying awful hard to make herself look very hardcore.
