Is it real what are the odds for it to happen

It's real, though the name is improper. It's not 'spontaneous'.. Every case, so far as I know, has basically been overweight folks who were smokers.. Their body fat acts as a wick and burns, incinerating the body while causing little to no damage to the surrounding area.

Very rare.

At least, that is the scientific consensus on it.. Which, to me at least, makes far more sense than a body igniting due to some internal factors.

Never really heard of this, but one would think with the human body consisting mainly of water, it would be impossible to spontaneously combust.
