Jamie-Lynn Sigler is proud to be a member of the "Entourage" entourage.

While many critics view the seminal HBO bro comedy as offensive in its treatment of women, Sigler loved her experience on the show.

In her new book And So It Is…: A Memoir of Acceptance and Hope, "The Sopranos" alum recalls how the cast and crew's "special" treatment of her came at a welcome time.

"People have complained about the misogyny depicted on the show, but let me tell you, they treated me like a queen," she writes. "I never once felt objectified or disrespected. Quite the opposite. I was made to feel special, and man, did I need that validation at that point in my life."

At the time of her "Entourage" run, Sigler was privately dealing with multiple sclerosis and had recently gotten divorced.

Sigler got into a romantic relationship with "Entourage" actor Jerry Ferrara as their fictional characters got into a relationship on the show.

"Jerry and I quickly fell into the rhythm of a serious relationship," she writes. "We had already done so much of the early work of wooing and getting to know each other on set, so it felt seamless."

But Sigler reveals that her worsening MS symptoms affected their dynamic, eventually leading to a split.

"I found myself picking fights with Jerry just to push him away," she shares. "I think that I was trying to spare him from what I knew I was about to enter: a deep depression spiral, and I didn't want to take him with me. He was too good for that. He deserved more."
