The Ricardos and Mertzes go to Miami Beach:
(The Ricardos and Mertzes get on the train.)
Ricky: “Is the band here Mr. Manayer?”
Fred: “Yes it is.”
Lucy: “You heard the band MANAYER Ricky.”
Ethel: “This will be so nice.”
Lucy: “Ricky?”
Ricky: “No.”
Lucy: “You haven’t even heard my question.”
Ricky: “I know what it is. It is: ‘Ricky can I be in the show on the train?’”
Lucy: “Well, why not?”
Ricky: “Do I have to remind you of all the times you embarrassed me?”
Lucy: “Oh come on. Out of 100 times, I embarrassed you only 97.”
Ricky: “The answer is no. Come on Fred. Let’s play some gin rummy. Come on Little Ricky.”
Little Ricky: “Ok.”
(They leave.)
Lucy: “Cone on Ethel. Help me. I’m going to be in Ricky’s show if it’s the last thing I do.”
Ethel: “It will be.”
Lucy: “Come on.”
(Ethel helps Lucy. Later on, they are in the Ricardo compartment.)
Lucy: “I got my costume on. It’s time for the show.”
(They try to leave but the door can’t be opened.)
Lucy: “Oh, this is a fine fix. Ricky locked the door. I guess I will have to break it open otherwise we will suffocate.”
(She does and the alarms go off. The conductor comes by.)
Conductor (yells): “WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?”
(Ricky comes by.)
Lucy: “Ricky, my husband locked the door so I couldn’t be in the show. I turned the knob to the left and it didn’t open.”
Conductor: “Ma’am, you are supposed to turn it to the right. That will cost you $3,000.
(Ricky does a facepalm.)
Ricky: “Lucy that money is coming out of my wallet.”
Lucy: “Ewwwww!”
(The end.)
