I had to go visit my Uncle Gary in Utica a week or two ago, and he told me that he was invited to all of the screenings for every new comedy out there. He told me his favorites, and his least favorites, and then told me about The Grubbs. He told me basically this, "The sitcom is as good as it's title. The show just has terrible writing, and has terrible influences on children. It teaches them the wrong things, and that doing wrong is actually doing right. A promising cast is wasted in thankless and at times grotesque characters."

I absolutely agree. If you are going to insult others, do it somewhere else but not on these boards. Other places wouldn't have put up with your crap and you would have been banned already. In the past, we've covered failed pilots of TV shows. But what if the show in question actually got picked up by the network, produced Several episodes AND was ready to broadcast...only for the plug to be pulled at the last possible second? 2002's "The Grubbs" was one of those shows, and we're going to try to figure out why the axe fell prematurely.
