I just heard that Arlo Guthrie was proclaimed the King of Brooklyn. How old is Arlo?

Thanks for the info! People have been writing about on his message boards. He got crowned yesterday. He is gonna be 54 yrs old on July 10. Seems hard to believe he is that old. He still looks good for his age. If Freddie were alive I would've tried to get Arlo to have Freddie as his opening act. I think they both would've loved each other.

Next time I see him I want to ask him about Freddie. I need to know if he met Freddie at the Carter inaugeration. & if so what his take of=n Freddie was...

Right now the only gigs he had booked anywhere near me is one in PA in a suburb of Philly & we are going with friend of his who lives several hrs North of us. Drive to her house & go with her from there like we did going to see him at that place last yr.
