Ever since her album A Few Small Repairs became a top album in 1996 I noticed that Shawn Colvin's hit Sunny Came Home became a popular 90's hit and I never understood why this song became a monster hit for Shawn Colvin? Is it because Shawn Colvin wanted to copy Tracy Chapman and Jewel with this song? I was browsing through Pandora and found Sunny Came Home and liked the song and I love singing along with the chorus too
