I have noticed lately that the Bollywood movie genre has seemingly become very popular in movies and I have never understood why? Is it because India has a big movie obsession or is it because people have suddenly liked Bollywood movies? Because for some unknown reason Bollywood movies from India have gained a mega fanbase in America and they range from dramas to action movies and comedies and romance films and I wouldn't be surprised if the trend continues in movies today. My aunt is a fan of Bollywood movies and she watches them sometimes but how these movies became popular in America i'll never know

Given that Bollywood produced more movies than Hollywood, they have larger market in south Asia than in western market. One reason might be that most of Bollywood movies contain number of song and dance scenes-where in Hollywood movies is a rarity as movie audiences are different. For example Hollywood did a Bollywood style movie called Basmati Blues in 2017, and it was a disastrous.

As I mentioned in my opening post my aunt LOVES Bollywood movies and when she came to visit my family when Dad would be at work my aunt and my mom would watch Bollywood movies she would rent and she liked them a lot. But I think the reason why the Bollywood movie genre started taking the world by storm in America is because I think India is the second most successful country for movies next to America and Bollywood movies have been successful in America because they have a lot of comedy action drama adventure and romance all in one
