icecream 04-15-2026, 10:40 PM This channel is going downhill fast, both those shows are lousy additions. Only 20th century classic not marginalized now is the still overkilled Walker, Texas Ranger.
space1999 04-16-2026, 11:28 AM Wow GET TV really changed within the past year. It's doomed like Cozi TV. All modern shows now. Only a matter of time before Rockford and Quincy are off the schedule. I hope MeTV or H&I can get those shows, along with Magnum PI. GET TV is no longer a retro tv channel.
icecream 04-17-2026, 12:19 AM GET has a post on their Facebook page about Community coming, but nothing for Franklin and Bash which has already been on a few nights.
icecream 04-24-2026, 07:55 PM Even their Saturday marathons have gone down. Tomorrow's marathon is Franklin and Bash. :mumble:
LittleRoom02 04-25-2026, 11:04 AM I forgot all about GET. I haven't watched the channel since they took off Married with Children and Til Death. Didn't know they changed the name of the channel. As much as I like Community, this feels like a weird addition. If this was a couple years ago when they had more comedies, sure. But even then, the show is pretty niche as is. Also, is there a reason they're only playing it on weekends? There's enough episodes for them to play 2-4 episodes a day.
The channel in general feels like it's trying to be an OTA version of old USA Network. Anyone else feeling that?
Marcus2026 05-11-2026, 01:44 PM Beginning today, GREAT will be adding Happy Endings to their schedule, and their weekday schedule will be modified.
New weekday schedule as of May 11th:
9am-11am: Quantum Leap
11am-1pm: The Rockford Files
1pm-6pm: Walker, Texas Ranger
6pm-9pm: Monk
9pm-12am: Psych
12am: Franklin & Bash
1am-3am: Community
3am-4am: Happy Endings
4am-Timeless
5am-Quantum Leap
LittleRoom02 05-11-2026, 01:46 PM Weird to have Community and Happy Endings overnight. I really don't get this channel and its treatment of sitcoms.
icecream 05-11-2026, 11:48 PM Weird to have Community and Happy Endings overnight. I really don't get this channel and its treatment of sitcoms. Those lousy sitcoms aren't worth watching anyway. What is worse is how less than a year after finding I had this once promising channel in August, so many good 20th century classics like The Rockford Files, og Quantum Leap, Quincy M.E. which is gone again after these most recent changes, and Ironside have been treated terribly. The one 20th show left that still gets treated well is mediocre Walker, Texas Ranger which continues with the 5 hour a day overkill everyday.

Well, that's just like, your opinion man. I have never seen a single positive post from you. Just nothing but complaints and calling shows bad.
icecream 05-12-2026, 12:57 PM Well, that's just like, your opinion man. I have never seen a single positive post from you. Just nothing but complaints and calling shows bad.Whatever. I am hardly alone on not liking those sitcoms. So my opinion is shared by many... Community was always low rated with a niche audience, only lasted as long as it did because NBC was full of sitcoms with terrible ratings. Happy Endings only lasted three seasons and had terrible retention from Modern Family. There are numerous shows I do like. You obviously haven't seen my top 1111 TV characters, overall top 200 shows list, or top rookie shows by calendar year list which has hundreds of shows I DO like.
networkman 05-16-2026, 01:31 AM I am enjoying watching Community. I am so glad Great acquired it. I would love to see other underated single cam comedies on the network. Shows such as My Name is Earl, Raising Hope and Superstore would fit well with Community.

Unfortunately wouldn't happen since none of them are owned by Sony. Also, they'd probably put them in crappy timeslots. I really hope they move Community and Happy Endings to more watchable timeslots.

There's still Quantum Leap, The Rockford Files, Monk, Psych and more recently, Timeless, which are the only non-Sony owned shows to air on GREAT, and all of them are Universal shows.

That is right. My bad. I haven't really gave the channel much attention since I first heard that's where Monk was moving. Though I've been watching again since they added Community.
icecream 06-13-2026, 12:17 AM It looks like Community and Happy Endings bombed on weekends. Starting June 20, Community will not be airing on Saturdays anymore. The marathons will go back to 11AM-7PM. And starting June 21, Community moves to the 10AM hour and Happy Endings is gone from Sundays. Marathons will also be 11AM-7PM then. There are no changes on weekdays for now.

That's good news. Not idea why Get TV likes having all these modern shows on the channel. This gives me hope that someday Magnum PI, Ironside, Kojak and even so more older shows like Dan August will return to the channel.

It has not been on the schedule since I first found I have this channel last August.
Marcus2026 06-18-2026, 10:09 PM Coming next month, Great Entertainment Television will acquire reruns of the Hugh Laurie starred drama series House aka House, M.D.
Time and exact date TBD...
LittleRoom02 06-19-2026, 01:39 PM Ok now I really think they're trying to go for some sort of blue sky era USA Network kind of vibe. This is what? The 4th or 5th show they've picked up that used to be on ION/H&I.
Going to miss coming home to Community on weekend mornings. Love that show. Just cause you guys don't like it doesn't mean others feel the same.
icecream 06-22-2026, 11:46 PM GET announced on their Facebook page they will be airing a two day marathon celebrating the 20th anniversary of Psych the weekend of July 11 and 12. Episodes aired will be determined by fan voting.
With this news I am guessing they will use the Psych anniversary marathon to heavily promote House to premiere on July 13.
