A common joke about Three’s Company is that every episode revolved around a misunderstanding from something someone heard or saw [See joke from Friends below]

For the big fans out there, how accurate do you think this is? Of the 172 episodes, how many do you think actually hinged on that?

Answer 1 - ever episode
Answer 2 - it could only be from “Strange Bedfellows” in season 2.

John Ritter + misunderstandings = funny.

The only good episodes of Three's a Crowd were the few misunderstanding episodes they made. Episode 13 "A Friend in Deed" was easily the funniest episode of the whole series.
