View Full Version : Freddie's Will Peko 06-06-2001, 05:16 PM . [This message has been edited by Peko (edited 07-20-2001).] atlangel 06-06-2001, 06:02 PM I have not seen a copy of the will, but understand from his Mom's book that near the end of his life, Freddie revised his will so that 75% of his estate went to his Mom and the other 25% would be held in trust for his son until he reached the age of 21. Anna 06-06-2001, 06:37 PM All I ever heard Peko ,is that he took out Kathy and his dad. Joy 06-06-2001, 09:28 PM ANNA i CAN SEE WHY HE WOULD TAKE kATHY OUT OF HIS WILL(just from the money hungry out to marry a star feeling I get from reading articles and from reading about Maria's uncertainty about her in the book) By why would Freddie take his dad out of his will? I know they wern't as close as Freddie and Maria but Karl was his father after all,Any ideas on why Cheryl Harrell 06-07-2001, 12:23 AM I wonder if maybe the pills caused him to leave his dad out of his will. I don't blame him for leaving Kathy out... Anna 06-07-2001, 01:13 AM I don`t blame him for taking Kathy out either,as for his dad maybe because of the abuse. Joy 06-10-2001, 03:31 PM Anna, Was the abuse ever really proven? I hate to say this, but if Freddie really began taking drugs so early, and I'd heard(maybe even here) that what he was taking caused Paranoia maybe it was the drugs "talking" behind those thoughts. As close as Maria and Freddie were I find it hard to believe that abuse could happen and she not know it and if she found out I think it would have killed her. (I don't know tho maybe it is possible to hide abuse for a while?) Anna 06-10-2001, 05:50 PM Joy... All I know is what has been on this board. I never heard of abuse when it concerned Freddie, but we don`t know. Has it ever been proven? Not to the public. Maybe there are some secrets Maria wants to keep and thats one of them. Freddie had his reasons for taking his dad out of his will. and those reasons belong to Freddie alone. Peko 06-11-2001, 09:15 AM I wonder if Freddie's will would actually state the reason why he took his Dad out. We can assume why regarding Kathy, but it is curious about his Dad. Maybe he felt like he had never really been a father to him. After all, in Maria's book, it does mention something about her coaxing Karl to be a father to Freddie. I think it was in regards to playing ball, etc. with him if I'm not mistaken. In any case, I knew someone who's father was never really "there", and the kid complained that his father never even threw a ball with him, etc. This particular kid also tried to take his own life, (unsuccessfully) and his father was a minister and they had 2 other children. I find it a wierd similarity! |
