Everybody here remembers "Never Bathe on Saturday," right? Well on the show "Candid Camera" they got the idea for a stunt from that episode!! They actually had a woman get her toe stuck in a faucet. At the end, they admitted they'd borrowed the idea from Dick Van Dyke and one of the co-hosts asked, "Do we have to send Mary Tyler Moore a T-Shirt for this?" I totally freaked out when they said her name. I need help, LOL.

:eek: omg...I remember watching this as a kid! I didnt put it together until much later, in "rerun land":D I havent seen many of the new CC shows. It sort of lost something when Alan Funt died. But dont you just love it when you see someone else picking up aomething out of your favorite tv show?:D :cool:

I'm glad they gave TDVDS credit, that's one of my worst pet peeves when a show totally steals a plot from a classic TV series and acts as if it's their own. :rolleyes:

I know what you mean, Becki. The whole time they were doing the stunt I was like, "You stole that from Dick Van Dyke!!!" I was almost going to write Peter Funt a nasty letter, LOL! Fortunately he confessed.

OMG! That is so cool! I never watched CC before so I'll have to catch that one when it reruns. That reminds me a couple weeks ago I was flipping through the channels and on some movie on A&E (I think) had these two guys talking and on the tv in the background was Rob & Laura!
