Game Show Network is gearing up to premiere some new original series this year.

- "Beat the Bridge", hosted by Cameron Mathison (General Hospital), is based on BBC’s "Bridge of Lies".

It features an enormous interactive bridge that dares players to cross by stepping on the right answers to challenging trivia questions. Each step forward puts money in the team’s bank, with bonus money for each successful crossing.

However, the team gets to keep the money only if it can “beat the bridge” by returning one of its players back across before time expires in an exciting end game.

It premieres in June 2024.

- "Tic Tac Dough", hosted by Brooke Burns (Master Minds, The Chase) is an updated version of NBCUniversal’s classic format originally created by Robert Noah.

Burns guides two contestants as they compete to place three of their marks in a row on the giant trivia board. Both players must try to avoid the dragon, who lurks to steal their turns and stands in their path to victory.

After three rounds, the winning player moves on to face the dragon in the grand prize round, where the dragon moves strategically on the board to block the player’s ability to make three-in-a-row and take home $10,000.

It premieres in August 2024.

Brooke Burns is gonna host the Tic-Tac Dough revival on GSN in August? I thought Tic-Tac Dough's revival was gonna be in syndication and Tom Bergeron was gonna be the star? It seems that Brooke Burns is turning into a GSN heroine first with The Chase then Masterminds and now Tic-Tac Dough. But why Brooke Burns of all people to host this Tic-Tac Dough revival? I think few people will watch it but had GSN had chosen a different star to host the Tic-Tac Dough revival such as Dax Shepard or Ryan Reynolds it would've been more fun. I like Brooke Burns but Tic-Tac Dough and her don't mix well in the GSN soup. But Brooke will be the first female Tic-Tac Dough host in history when it debuts but I bet it will be cancelled after the fourth episode

I liked the game play on Beat the Bridge, especially the bonus round. But Cameron Mathison is a terrible host shouting everything. That loudmouth managed to get Emmy nominations?! My mom liked him even less, she turned off Beat the Bridge partway through.

From tonight's episode: I have never heard economics pronounced EEKanomics. ECKanomics is how most people would spell it.

I agree with you. but so many of the game show host are hollering. When I see the old 1950- 1960's game shows the host are so more sedate. I did prefer him when he was on All My children where I first saw him. Now I do see him occasionally on HallMark movies, ? Good Morning America, Entertainment tonight. . The guy seems to go everywhere.

I still have not seen any ads for Tic Tac Dough which supposedly premieres in August. But The Flip Side with its fall premiere got a promo during tonight's Beat the Bridge.

Still no ads at all for Tic Tac Dough. And it does not look like an August premiere is happening anymore, GSN schedule remains the same through end of the month.

I've seen and like Beat The Bridge and I think Cameron Mathison's a good host, I don't think he's "yelling" he's just enthusiastic. To each their own I guess. I think it's a good and entertaining game show.

I’ve watched some recently and I like it. Mostly because it falls on the easy side and I’d do pretty good at it, although the overall gameplay is also good.

The host has to bring the soap opera energy because they don’t even try to fake that they have a studio audience.

I found an interview with him. They shoot these episodes pretty quickly.

Now that the seasons have been finished for a bit, when might we hear of renewals or cancellations?

You often don't hear about cancellations on GSN. Hey Yahoo might have been the most recent show cancelled after one season, it was totally removed from the schedule less than a year after premiering. People Puzzler never got an announcement, but it has been at least 2 years and repeats have gone into broadcast syndication.

Maybe they don’t talk about killings, but they gotta talk about coming backs. I mean, they gotta promote it and stuff.

Anyways, I’m sure I’d hear about Bingo one way or the other on Valerie’s socials.
