Hey it's just pesty me again.
In the post I just put up,can anyone translate?
I mentioned the ring on Chico's finger.
Do you suppose it was his actual wedding ring
or just a prop for that particular show.
Any guesses?

My guess is that since Kathy and family obviously meant so much to him, it was probably his wedding ring (or perhaps, something else that held personal significance). Maybe they had him put it on a different finger for the tapings. (I never paid much attention to which finger it was on!)

Was the episode about plastic surgery shot soon after Freddie was married? I don't remember him wearing a ring in any other episodes, and I have always paid very close attention to his hands http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif.

I'm not sure when it was filmed it's so difficult to tell when things are unless the year is mentioned in the episode or when Della arrives on the scene than I know the best shows are almost done.

That's a beautiful picture but that isn't the ring i saw. It was a smaller one. In fact in the show the first time Chico shakes hands with (Bernie Kopel) the guy who played the plastic surgeon,before he offers the dotor his hand he removes the ring and puts it in his mouth.(I was worried for a minute he would choke on it it was so small)
Here's a non CATM bit of trivia from an admitted tv aholic Bernie Kopel played the plastic surgeon on CATM and also played Dr.
Adam Bricker on the long running series the love boat.( which is also coming to tv land

Yep, Bernie Kopell played Drs. on both shows. & he also was Donald Hollingers best friend on THAT GIRL.

I had forgoten that about the ring.I wonder why he put it in his mouth?

mmaybe Chico thought if he put the ring in his pocket he would forget it there and it would go through the laundry. Ha Ha.

I've found money & paper hankys etc in the washer. Good thing Chico didn't swallow the ring!
