Ever since she debuted in America with her American debut album Unison in 1990 I never understood why or how Celine Dion became popular and when you look at her today I think she wants to be like Barbra Streisand. Because ever since she became a top singer in the 90's Celine Dion seemed to make herself well-known in America and with hits like Love Can Move Mountains Only One Road and her duet version of Beauty And The Beast with Peabo Bryson I think Celine wanted to be as big as Mariah Carey but wanted to copy Barbra Streisand. But it wasn't until My Heart Will Go On from Titanic that she made herself a household name. But when you look at her career today her last three albums have been weak. And now it seems that Celine Dion wants to sing covers of hits that make her big. Like in Loved Me Back To Life she covered Stevie Wonder's Overjoyed Janis Ian's At Seventeen and the oddest cover was of Billy Joel's Lullabye "Good Night My Angel" and how Celine Dion thinks covers of songs are smart hits i'll never figure out. But I have almost all of Celine Dion's albums and I think she will go far like Nana Mouskouri has and with the news of her comeback tour in France I think Celine Dion will do French language albums rather than English albums

Why I also think Celine Dion is trying to reinvent herself is because she has a new image and this image is trying to become like Susan Boyle and Barbra Streisand. I also think that with this new comeback tour in France Celine Dion is hoping for a chance to release an album because I think Celine Dion thinks she can still hit a home run in music even with all that has happened with her. But why her albums continue to sell millions of copies i'll never figure out
