21 years ago, a legend was reborn. After being off the air for 15 years, the show had to change. In this video, I take a deep dive into Series 1 of modern Doctor Who — the season that brought the show back from the wilderness and reintroduced The Doctor to a whole new generation. From Christopher Eccleston’s fresh take on The Doctor to Billie Piper’s amazing portrayal of Rose Tyler, this series laid the foundation for everything that followed.

We’ll be breaking down key episodes and exploring how Russell T Davies revived a cult classic and turned it into a cultural phenomenon.

Was Series 1 perfect? Not quite. But it got a lot right, and without it, modern Doctor Who might not exist at all - and I wouldn't be able to talk about my favourite show with you guys on the internet.
