That weirdo professor annoyed the hell out of me in Teacher's pet. Poor Sylvia was like I need to pass this class so I gotta do what I gotta do:lol: if it means sleeping with him who cares.

But why did the episode end without viewers seeing barbara file a grievance with grievance committee? Especially since she said she was still going to go through with it. Why would it end like that??

Unless..................she only filed the grievance on CBS??:lol::lol:

I was surprised it wasnt no mention of Julie and Max at the start of a new season

Slimy Francine tricked Ann into taking the promotion knowing it was in Texas lol So she end up losing the opportunity to go to Texas and her job. She should have did more than pouring wa.ter on her at the end wej

I will admit that's not the type of move you just say yes to immediately. Not like moving from philly to NYC.

Mr. Connors had the type of voice that was suited for Sunday Night Sports wrap while showing highlights. It was that type of late night tone that reminds you the weekend is over.

Yeah. I guess it was supposed to be believed that Barbara won the case and the teacher was reprimanded or fired. But it would have been nice to see it happen. It showed Barbara's strength and confidence. It was cool when she slapped him.

Yes. Mr. Connors is a very dry person. :D

This should have been a mention of Julie and Max , being they were living in Houston. That would have been one plus of going to Amarillo , being closed to Julie and Max if Ann transferred to Texas. Although the two cities are pretty far apart Northern Texas and Southern Texas , and it being such huge state. Still closer than Indy.

Just Alex is on season 7, and we are stuck with him for a while. But Julie comes back and a couple more cool people ( in my opinion) get added to the cast within the last 3 seasons so Alex isn't a big focus all the time, thank God!

First episode was funny tonight. Barbara was very popular with the cop and the insurance man! Ann was like " Hello ! I know my Daughter is pretty but we were just robbed, let's focus" ! :lol:And who would steal their furniture? Really ? That old a** ugly orange striped couch! How much would it really sell for at a swap meet to make it worth stealing? Maybe the TV and stereo would be worth something.

One cool thing about season 6 was the new furniture and living room makeover. It looked much better. And Nick only there a little bit.;)

Second episode was not great, but not horrible either . At least Nick and Alex weren't in it.

Sunday Father sucked, except the beginning in the sporting goods store was OK. Really thank God for Barbara/ Valerie because I think the show would have started sinking at this point. Nick and Alex weren't likable , didn't add anything, Schneider's shtick was getting old , and well we all loved Ann, she was Mom, the matriarch..So between Barbara, Ann and Grandma( who I like) was holding the show together with Julie and Max leaving.

That was the sleazy insurance guy from Buffalo.

Her one year older sister almost married a 42 year old. Barbara herself showed some interest in that sleazy insurance guy from Buffalo. What Schneider was doing shouldn’t overly creepy her out.

Right. And back in the day it wasn't as much as an issue as it is now if a guy was alot older. As long as the girl was of age. But usually an older man had money, wasn't just an apt.building super. Even now days , a young girl/ older man usually he has money.

Season 6 halfway over already. It was a little shorter because of the actors strike.

Good, funny episode. Far fetched part, when the girls decided to draw straws to see who would marry Eduardo, there conveniently were straws on the coffee table . I guess the reality of being a grown up. Have to make money, this it is. If I don't do the grind I don't get paid ,miss too much, get fired. It's a different type of responsibility . I remember back in the day starting to work . I didn't notice Brenda's thighs, .But it reminded me of season 1 when Ann caught David with that other woman in his apartment. Her wearing the pajama top and David wearing the bottom like this time with Nick and Brenda .

Just watched five finger discount. Was wondering why schneider came into ann's apt with those big a$$$$ headphones:lol: Turned out they were stolen by grandmom romano:lol:

It was so random, since I never saw him listening to music before

It’s a weird one. All of a sudden out of nowhere we find out Grandma has a past history as thief.

I had a dream last night that I was buying a take out pizza at a pizza parlor and Joe Namath was working there and tried to charge me 250 dollars for the pizza! Weird dream. And he was young in the dream, still a football player ! Now why would Joe Namath in his heyday be working at a pizza joint?

I guess that dream was because the other day when TVfactfan said that guy guest starring on ODAAT looked like Joe Namath.:D

You don’t eat much pizza. I’ve lost all respect for you.

Are there not any local non national chain places around you?

Yes but its not NY style...flat with thin crust. I tried one local chain back during the SB but I didnt like it. So pizza wont be part of my NBA playoff opening weekend menu. Instead it will be

Chicken Tacos
Nachos and salsa
Hot wings
Chicken tenders

What episode in season 6 is Nick killed by a drunk driver? Just read a article from Oct of 1981 saying that Nick died last season. So what ep was that supposed to be since its only 2 left? Or did Antenna TV skip it?

Pizza (and most Italian) is the best, but I could live with that menu.

The ‘76ers are right on the line of automatically being in or having to play the play-in tournament. Or do you hate them like you hate the Eagles?

Nick is big in the next 2 episodes. Then he bites it in the season seven opener.

No I dont hate the 76ers but they will have hard time getting the 6 seed and will probably be in the play in because

Next 2 games at San Antonio and at Houston

Toronto plays Miami twice and nets and Knicks. So that means they will get in and play the knicks

Yeah, playing the Nets at this point is kind of an automatic win.

I can see why you were confused. It’s way wrong. First, Alex isn’t a new character, and second, as you saw tonight, season 6 is over and Nick is still alive.

At least it gets the Valerie thing right.

Im glad Ann slapped Alex in the wicked Ann episode. He was acting like he was 4 year old lol His dad should have been like............" u need to find u some friends or a girlfriend and stop worrying about my damm love life lol

And why the hell was Nick going to move in a apt where someone just died in? I mean why not let schneider revamp the entire apt before moving in?

I really thought David was just passing through not coming back to get with Ann. How he figure he can be gone for 5 years and just come back and start dating someone. Nick was so jealous of David that he stepped his romantic game up and was singing the song Night and Day to Ann

" IN the roaming traffic gloom, in the silence of my lonely room, I think of YOU Night and Day

That was some crazy drama . Alex was acting like a brat. And I might have reacted even worse than Ann did!

Yeah, creepy to move in a place right after a death. But location, location, location! Close to his job, and close to Ann. And I guess low move in fees , if nothing was going to be renovated. And also the woman who died had a pet bird that Nick promised to care for . So he must have gotten good deal on the apartment. ;)

This was a funny episode. Two men begging for Ann's attention ! So obvious David was faking his injury ! It was kind of cool, David showing up. Ann, Barbara and Schneider really genuinely seemed happy to see him..:)
