I can remember watching The Super Mario Bros Super Show as a child and it never failed to amaze me because it was so cool and having the live-action Mario and Luigi made the show fun to see. What a surprise that The Super Mario Bros Super Show will be added to METV Toons because if it does well METV Toons might launch a block full of video game oriented cartoons in the future like Pac-Man and The Legend Of Zelda

Figured I'd mention this here, but it seems like the masters they used are upscaled with Ai. So, the show is now called "⅂IIE Suplr MaNo Bros Super Show". If any of you want to see a comparison of the first airing with Shout Factory's DVD, I uploaded this video:

The return of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! to broadcast TV via MeTV Toons should have been a legacy brand PR slam dunk with this week’s release of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Instead, the show’s comeback has drawn intense scrutiny, with widespread allegations that the broadcast relies on AI-driven upscaling. The slopped-up results are hard to argue.

Following backlash to AI-updated episodes of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! currently airing on MeTV, distributor WildBrain has clarified its use of technology in the restorations.
