I was watching an old TV Land episode of "The Addams Family" from when they used to air the show back in 1997. During the ending credits, the announcer said "Up Next on Nick at Nite's TV Land, Ed Sullivan and then Sonny and Cher." That was all, now TV Land splits the screen in half to show a commerical which they already show duing the commercial breaks. Also, during the show, they didn't have any colorful images appearing on the screen saying "Next: Leave it to Beaver". They left the shows alone. I wonder why a great channel like TV Land has to be rude and destroy the shows they air.

I never had the privilge of watching TV Land in it's glory years, but that's my point too. I mean, Hallmark does split credits (And they are far worse than TV Land), has that little bar during the show saying UP NEXT: blah blah blah and they even have like what you just said: Up Next on Comedy Kickback: blah blah blah. I mean, the "UP NEXT" part is more than enough, IMO.

If you tape trade and can copy tapes... e-mail me, LOL. I'd defintely like to see something from the glory years of TV Land, for that reason, and also the fact I am compiling a huge TV Land log of schedules are archiving them on a website (the site's not up yet).

Split Credits and Voiceovers get on my nerves. It would seem to me that writers, directors, and even actors would complain about the shrink up of the credits.

If I were a writer, director or an actor of a show and the network running it edits it, splits the credits, etc., I would complain. In fact, I would complain LOUDLY.

I know it. That's how people get to know your writing. If I did a story for the New Twilight Zone and people couldn't see my name, how are people going to buy my stories and put them on tv? I've never considered putting my stories to tv, but you get my point.

Well, as someone that would like to write for TV, I'd be pi$$ed.
