This is a somewhat abstract question.
"True urban form" can either be a precise historical measurement or a general "on the ground" subjective assessment.
For example: Columbus was once more compact than Boston while it was somewhat of a modern major city,then expanded its boundaries six-fold.
The purpose of this thread to is see if any cities havent been given a fair shake with regards to its popular perception. (Ah man!!)
