Hey all,
I just have share the dream I had last night.
I believe it was brought on by the prospect of my poem being read to Freddie so I wanted to share it with everyone(especially DeDe for her kind offer)
I dreamt that Maria heard DeDe reading my poem to her beloved Freddie and (don't ask me how it was a dream)She came to my house!
She and I watched CATM and laughed cried and visited together. Then of coarse the alarm rang.
DeDe should you happen to have the joy of seeing Maria there please feel free to give my poem to her .Thanks

Dear Joy,

I just read your post, and I was touched by it, chills went through me, the thought of Mrs. Pruetzel being there would be an honor.

I will make some copies of your poem, and like I said before, If there are other members of the family there I will give them extra copies of your poem, therefore, they can give it out to other members of the family. I am all to happy to do this for you and for everyone on this board, If someone is there I will give them the info about this wonderful board on Freddie, and how he is so much loved.

With all my love,
DE DE

Hey, Joy--This is weird! I had the most vivid dream about Freddie last night, too & I got on here to post about it, saw your post, so I thought I'd post mine under this topic. Wouldn't it be neat if your dream really happened?

In my dream, I'm a teenager again in the neighborhood where I grew up. I go walking by a certain church, and I see Freddie hanging out in the parking lot. I go up to him and strike up a conversation.
Pretty soon we're laughing and playing, riding bikes, and we pretty much spend the whole day together like a couple of carefree kids. All the while, I'm thinking that I must warn him about what's going to happen to him in the future, but it's hard for me to find a way to say it.
Finally, I grab ahold of him and tell him, "Freddie-I've seen the future, and when your'e 22, you're supposed to shoot yourself with a gun--DON'T do it!!"
His smile disappears, and he looks at me with a skeptical frown and says, "I don't believe you".

Then the alarm clock rings....

It seemed so real....I just thought I'd share that one.

Karen64,
What a dream, the part where he tells you I don't believe you, just like on the show.
It's so chilling

Wow, what a moving topic! Joy, your dream is so sweet. I hope it comes true because I know Freddie's family would be touched to have a copy of your heartfelt poem. It would be nice to sit down with his Mom and share how much you love her son. It could only make her heart fill with pride and joy, that no matter how many years pass, we are still here remembering and cherishing him.
To Karen64, I got much from your dream as well. It is sweet and speaks highly of you in that you would just show him a day of light-hearted fun and carefree living. (Something I fear he did not experience alot.) Also, your meeting him in the church parking lot is very symbolic. I would feel much as you did in how do I bring up the subject of what the future holds? Wow. But then when you did reveal it to him...his response gave me chills as Joy said. You know, I feel that with all his drive to accomplish all that he did, the other joys and pains in his life, his faith in his "friends" -- if someone HAD told him what was down the road, he probably would NOT have believed it!
Ladies, I thank you for sharing these profound dreams with us. It took me a while to respond because I was hit by what you both said. :-
