Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen are the most famous child stars of all time, & back during the 90’s and early 2000’s, most millennials would say the Olsen twins had the perfect life, but unfortunately things were very far from perfect in the Olsen’s life & behind the scenes. Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen have said they wouldn't wish their childhood on anyone, but unfortunately the exploitation of the Olsens & their fame continued well into their adulthood and as they entered their 20’s things turned much darker.

So that’s what we’re going to be discussing today, the incredibly successful and terrible careers of the Olsen twins & why after spending their entire life in the spotlight, they both decided to completely walk away from Hollywood. We’ll be exploring the commodification of Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen before they could even walk or talk, their distain for the media & the devastating aspects of their stories including the tragic passing of another wildly popular 90’s and 2000’s actor Heath Ledger.

We’ll also be covering how the Olsen machine & the sisters enormous success didn’t just consume their own lives but the lives of many ppl surrounding them, including their other sister Elizabeth Olsen.
