"Doc" Renewed for Season 3 at Fox with Another 22-Episode Order

No sophomore slump for Fox‘s "Doc".

After scoring a rare 22-episode Season 2 order with its breakout freshman run last year, the medical drama has done it again, landing a 22-episode Season 3 pickup. Barbie Kligman and Hank Steinberg will continue as co-showrunners.



Season-to-date, "Doc" is averaging 7.4M multi-platform viewers, Fox’s largest multi-platform audience for a 2025-26 scripted series, which nearly triples (+193%) the drama’s Live+Same Day delivery.

Speaking of L+SD performance, "Doc" recently hit a regular time period series high in total viewers (2.7M, 2/3/26).



“Doc has become a true breakout for Fox, delivering our largest scripted multi-platform audience of the season and building remarkable momentum across Fox, Hulu, Netflix, and internationally — earning it another 22-episode order,” said Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network.
