Does anyone have any further information on these cases? In case you didn't catch the episodes: the first's, Linda Sherman, skull was found outside of a restaraunt ten years after her disappearence - an establishment frequented by her jealous husband; the next a college student whose foot was found on a beach - and later his body in the bordering river - after having received threatening phone calls; and the last - the CREEPIEST U.M. OF ALL - involved a simple disappearence of a man's wife. Authorities then receieved a phone call stating her remains were in a specific place in the back yard of the home she shared with her husband. Upon searching the premises - authorities came upon the remains of FOUR PEOPLE - one Leonard Rizzo's wife Maggie Rizzo? - but do not have sufficient evidence to link him to the murders.
If anyone has any new info on these cases, or general comments, please post! Thanks!

I remember all three of those cases. They're fairly recent, and no updates have accompanied any of them. Have you tried putting the victims names into a search engine such as Google.com? A lot of times internet news articles are written about criminal investigations. We learn a lot more this way about the people/crime than UM can fit into a fifteen minute segment.
Yes, the third case was very very creepy. It's bizzare to think some other person murdered these four people, including the guy's wife, then placed them in the husband's own backyard, even in the barbecue grill. And in a way that couple seemed liked opposites: she looked like a refined socialite, and he looked like a biker. A lot didn't make sense in that case.

I meant the first time Unsolved Mysteries aired them each was recently. The cases themselves are all old, I know. Let's hope that this publicity will bring in new leads and help to solve them.

I've located a copy of the search warrant issued by the San Antonio police department to search Leonard Rizzo's property.

Also - here is an interesting article on the Bryan Nisenfeld case. After watching the UM segment I was sure there was some foul play involved, however upon reading this article, am starting to lean towards the suicide theory.

Thanks for posting the links. I just finished reading the Nisenfeld article and it's very interesting.

you know, I asked about (I think) the same story about the skull. I still needed info on Micki Jo West case where the killer left anonymous notes about her murder around a mall. Also, any cases that involve killers or murderers contacting or taunting authorities about their crimes would be helpful for my project. But I just read up on these links and I find it very interesting!
