Yesterday I found my copy of Des'ree's second album I Ain't Moving and I wondered what became of Des'ree's career? Because ever since she made her debut in 1992 with Mind Adventures she didn't become well known until 1994's earlier mentioned I Ain't Moving album due to the song You Gotta Be becoming a catchy hit of the 90's. Des'ree released a third album called Supernatural in 1998 but then left American success for her UK homebase for better success. Des'ree was like Sade and India.Arie and had a relaxed sound to her music. But she should've been more well known in America

I first discovered Des'ree when I first saw the You Gotta Be video and I was amazed at her talent and although I didn't get the I Ain't Moving album until years later that album is a classic. Today I listened to Des'ree's 1998 album Supernatural and that album also is good but why it failed to get little promotion is shocking
