GoldenTV 03-03-2026, 01:14 AM MacDonald newest burger The Big Arch burger becomes available in the United States for a limited time starting Tuesday, March 3. It is essentially an elevated double quarter pounder sandwich that comes with two quarter pound beef patties, three slices of white cheddar cheese, and topped with crispy onions, slivered onions, pickles, lettuce and Big Arch sauce. All served on a good size toasted sesame and poppy seed bun.
It comes in at at 1,057 calories which is twice as much as Big Mac's (580 cal.), with the price seems to be running around $8.

Do you remember what was it called as Big Arch burger seem to be a new offering. Personally I think MacDonald would have done better if they had offered a new burger based on an upgrade to their signature burger (Big Mac)-rather than an "bulked up" upgrade to their double cheese burger.

I tried the new Arch Burger and it was good with the crispy onions. It was 7.89 or 8.36 with tax here in Altoona PA
Dude111 03-03-2026, 11:38 AM I would ask for thier original diced Onions if I did try one...

I don't think I will try one as half pound of beef in a burger might be too much meat. I rather have two big Macs instead of one Big Arch burger if I am hungry.
Dude111 03-04-2026, 03:06 AM Its sad they ruined big macs... The sauce isnt as good at all..They did that in the 90s :(
Supersize your coronary for only $1.99 more!
biffbronson 03-05-2026, 09:51 AM About the only times I went to McDonalds was to get their Sausage McMuffins in the late morning (which is actually my lunchtime).
I normally avoided the drive-thru at all costs, but because there was literally no other customer there on my last visit, I risked it. So of course, minutes later someone pulled up in the other lane, and I was ignored totally despite arriving first. While that f ****ing a- hole started to give a tremendous sized order, I was infuriated and drove off. It will be a long time before I consider giving them my business again. F them and their f -ing dual lanes !!
Dude111 03-05-2026, 10:29 AM Ya its amazing they dont get more me$$ed up than they do having two lanes!

If having a large order one be be better off going inside as you can double check order and make sure they also put in condiments such as ketchup, dip sauces, etc... Another perk for going inside is that if you have a drink with your order, they hand you a cup and you can refresh yourself with water or soda while waiting for the order. And fill the cup back up when leaving.
Dude111 03-07-2026, 07:03 PM Have you tried this newer one Golden??
EDIT:
I saw you said you wouldnt want that much at 1 sitting....
Hawkee 03-22-2026, 04:23 AM My father got to try McDonald's The Big Arch burger for dinner tonight and he really enjoyed it and said it is better than the Big Mac. But the weakest link on The Big Arch is that it's VERY messy and is so huge that I do not know how people can finish it. But I think McDonald's has done a smart move by reviving The Big Arch and they will most likely compete with Carl's Jr. because according to Dad The Big Arch is like Carl's Jr.'s The Big Carl burger
biffbronson 03-22-2026, 06:15 AM In their advertising, McDonalds states "Limited Time." So if true, it's not a permanent menu addition, and there won't be competition with others for long.

They’ll McRib it and make it an “event”’ every time they bring it back.
Dude111 03-22-2026, 04:28 PM Yup they think people dont remember but I did..... The original Arch in the 90s!!
