I just watched this online with mixed emotions. The actor portraying Freddie did an amazing job capturing his voice, facial expressions and his standup routine. I was an 11 year old girl when I heard the horrible, devastating news about the loss of Freddie and I'd been a loyal fan of CATM. At the time, my hometown was in the middle of a massive snowstorm which made our snow total about one foot. Before the electricity went out, I heard about the shooting. Later, the next day, my dad had been trying to get our car down our long, snowy driveway and heard about Freddie's death.

This is something I never really got over. It was like a hole in my heart.
