The couple's nuptials became a significant moment in '90s television
John Stamos and Lori Loughlin were at the center of one of TGIF's biggest weddings.
On Feb. 15, 1991, Full House's Jesse and Becky tied the knot in a two-part wedding episode full of unforgettable twists and turns.
Becky was first introduced as Danny Tanner's cohost on Wake Up, San Francisco in season 2. Jesse was immediately smitten when he saw her, but Becky wasn't ready for a relationship, so the pair decided to remain friends.
By the end of that season, things turned romantic for the two, making the season four nuptials a majorly anticipated moment.
From a jailbreak to skydiving, the episode showcased some of the show's most out-there comedy moments, and remains a favorite among fans.

Stamos opened up about the song during a live show for Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin's rewatch podcast, How Rude, Tanneritos! (https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-how-rude-tanneritos-118613484/), in June 2025.
"That song is really beautiful. It’s an underrated Beach Boys song that Dennis Wilson sang, and they never... it just kind of sat there."
"Dennis passed away. Then that's when I started playing, but I knew that he loved that song, and I don't think it ever got the attention that it deserved. So I was grateful that I got to do that for them," he continued.
"It's a beautiful song about unrequited love, and I do it now in the live shows, and I show a video [talking] about Bob [Saget] a little bit, just about telling people that you love them, that you care about them, because tomorrow's never promised. And we learned that with Bob, unfortunately," Stamos noted.

Stamos revealed in his 2023 memoir, If You Would Have Told Me (https://www.amazon.com/If-You-Would-Have-Told/dp/1250890977), that his relationship with Loughlin was once on the “precipice of turning romantic.”
Stamos said he and his onscreen wife had “sort of true friendship that’s supposed to be the foundation of a great, lasting relationship," while shooting Full House.
