Cartoon fans are going to love Tubi in March, as they begin to add 100 (to be clear, only ten will arrive March 1, and of the ones we're mentioning here, only Animaniacs is on the March 1 list) classic cartoons series including Animaniacs, Flintstone Kids, Freakazoid, Pinky and the Brain, Smurfs, Tiny Toon Adventures, and even The Dukes, the animated version of The Dukes of Hazzard.

I clearly do not love distributors who insist on preserving all-capital legacy closed-captioning (whether that legacy CC is from NCI or VITAC) for their old-programming library when they're shown on SVoD platforms instead of creating brand-new lowercase closed-captioning for said library. I used to regularly watch some of these "Cartoons Cartoons", like The Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Ed, Edd n Eddy, when I was a young kid during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Right now, as an adult, I'm just worried that whoever distributes these "Cartoon Cartoons" (most likely Warner Bros. Television) is going to leave their original all-capital closed-captions intact when they become available on Tubi, even though I've been wanting new closed-captioning for the "Cartoon Cartoons" for some time. Even as late as June 2025, I've seen evidence of Ed, Edd n Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog still keeping those legacy NCI captions while they were on Adult Swim's "Checkered Past" block.
I'm being set up for disappointment. We know preservation of all-capital legacy closed-captioning on SVoD is a major problem at Warner Bros.
Tubi is essentially becoming the new Cartoon Network (https://gizmodo.com/tubi-becomes-the-new-cartoon-network-next-month-2000722242)
As HBO Max has gradually removed several classic Cartoon Network series, Tubi announced a slew of cartoons arriving on March 1, dubbed its “cartoon era.”

I was wondering the same thing! It hasn't so far. We're lucky.
(I found out a couple of months ago that I have MeTV Toons . :D I've become like a little kid when I've watched the Bugs Bunny cartoons )
