Just had to thank all of you ladies and gentlemen for the insightful, intelligent and sweet postings regarding the late/great Freddie Prinze, Sr. (Chico Rodriguez). I have been reading your postings for months, as I am a dedicated and long-time fan also. ('70's era). I do not have much computer saavy, but had to struggle through to get registered and let you know how comforting it is to know that others feel as I do about this incredibly talented and gifted man. He was a comedic genius and a phenomenal actor. I agree with so much that many of you have said regarding the sadness of this loss, Jack Albertson, Freddie's Mom, the last days of the show, etc. So please keep up the great work and sharing the fond memories. I plan to visit the gravesite in December. I know I will be a waterfall of tears, but that is okay. Oh, I wanted to let those interested parties know to watch your t.v. guide for his great movie, "Million Dollar Rip-Off". It was GREAT!! It is well worthwhile to record via the v.c.r. You will be pleasantly surprised by the depth of his performance. As one of you said, with all of the interest we are expressing, perhaps they will run it at some point this year. Again, I wish I could thank all of you individually for the pictures, thoughts, feelings, etc. I so much appreciate EACH and EVERY one of YOU!! (I apologize for going on so long. But you have all touched by heart! I send each of you a giant group hug. Thanks a million times.)

Hello atlangel, I missed your post here, here is my belated welcome to you. LOL I would love to see that movie Million Dollar-Rip Off. Is this movie on video tape? I hope so. Maybe I can look for it on Ebay. My mother and myself plan on going to visit Freddie at Forest Lawn on his birthday.

I envy you in that you will be visiting Freddie's resting place on his birthday. If it is not too dificult/emotional, would you be able to share your feelings upon your return? Thanks for the good wishes. Made it to Nags Head okay. This old 486 laptop of mine i sooo slow... With it being sooo slow & it crashing even tho I have a 56K modem, it has taken me over 4 hrs just do do my e-mail, my friend Arlo (The singers) 2 websites & their message boards, Arlo's newsgroup & this place. I nedd a Pentium! (I wanna do an Ed Brown over this LOL!)

Since I was too busy packing Thurs to see the tape of that days episode my hubby & I watched the Thurs, Fri & Sat, CATM's after getting her Fri nite. Last nite... In the Ed thinks he's losing his touch as a mechanic episode, when Chico cried it made me sooo sad. I couldn't bear to see him cry & wound up joining him LOL! Watched a couple more episodes. Got my 3 Freddie /CATM shirts! Ya'll might remember I bought a kit in Walmart where you can print T-shirt transfers for t-shirts. & I bought 3 feminine lookign t-shirts with a rounded neck on them. 1 whtie, 1 blue, 1 yellow. I made up 3 t-shirt transfers for them. 1 b&w of CHICO & ED with a CATM log on it, 1 b&w of Freedie waering a It's not my job t-shirt, & 1 color of Freddie wearing a t-shrit with CHICO & THE MAN written on it. Took them to a t-shrit place down here to get them put on as I was afradi if I tried to iron them on I wouldn't get it right. The 2 young girls working in there didn't know who he was or CATM having never seen them before due to being born after Freddie died. So we told them who he was. They didn't know Freddie Jr had a dad but they love Freddie Jr. They said he doesn't look like his dad. They think Freddie is someones dad LOL!
