I was looking at the Eastern Conference Standings and could not believe that the Pacers have the best record in the East. I didn't think the Pacers could win without Reggie Miller but I guess I was wrong. I guess I will have start paying close attention to the Pacers now.

Not only they do not have Reggie Miller, but no Austin Croshere either. Obviously they have had big performances by people like Jermaine O'Neal, Brad Miller, and Ron Artest.

I am surprised that they are tops in the east too. I thought they were a good team, but I didn't think they'd be that good. But if they keep on going, they could be very dangerous in the playoffs. :happyface

Well i hope they are good enough to beat the sixers. I hate iverson so much. It seems like the only teams in the East that can beat the sixers are boston and orlando. I'm not sure about NJ, Indiana or Atlanta.

Indiana has a lot of good young players such as Al Harrington who scored 40 points a few days ago against Atlanta, they got Ron Mercer who used to play for Boston & Chicago, he can put up a lot of points as well, Jonathan Bender, Jamaal Tinsley, Erick Strickland who they got from Boston this past summer. I'm happy for Jermaine O Neal cause the whole time he was in Portland, Portland didn't even play him that much which was a shame cause i always knew he would be a star. He was on the all star team last yr for the first time. I'm also happy for one of my favorite NBA players of all time which is Isiah Thomas who is Indiana's coach. Nobody thought he was gonna be a good coach & he's proving everybody wrong this yr. The thing i like about Isiah so much is that he lets his young boys play unlike a lot of other coaches who seem to not have confidence in their young players. Jonathan Bender, Al Harrington, Jermaine O Neal all came straight out of high school & Isiah has let them play a lot of minutes & they've all shown they are good ball players. I'm tired of coaches benching young players & not playing them as much cause they're young. Let them young boys play & prove themselves. I wish Doug Collins would let Juan Dixon play a lot if he wasn't hurt right now.
