Wally has plans, but June reminds him of his babysitting commitment for the Murdocks. For some unexplained reason, Wally thinks the babysitting gig is with Chuckie, not his sister Pat.

After some discussion, it's decided to let Beaver do the babysitting. Just a few episodes ago, the Cleavers were discussing having a babysitter for Beaver.

At the Murdocks', Wally and Beaver discover the babysitting gig is with Pat, which sends Beaver into a panic. Chuckie is in the room and appears to not know Beaver--which is a continuity error, since they have interacted in other episodes.

The girl has Beaver playing house, and develops a crush on him--soon following him around at school and talking about the house game. Eventually, Wally accepts the next babysitting date with the Murdocks.
