Judith Light knows how to bring the fun to the red carpet.
The beloved Who’s the Boss star, 76, is best known for her role as the high-powered advertising executive and single mom Angela Bower on the classic ’80s sitcom. Back then, her character was known for office chic styles like pussy bow blouses and shoulder pads to contrast with that of housekeeper Tony Micelli, famously played by Tony Danza. The show followed as Micelli moved into her Connecticut home with his daughter, Samantha, played by Alyssa Milano. Naturally, chaos ensued as Micelli clashed with Bower’s straight-laced ways. But in the present day, Light, who earned acclaim for her roles on Ugly Betty and Transparent, is still a fashion queen who brings fun and quirkiness to the red carpet.
This week, she attended the opening of the Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Foundation at Project Angel Food in Los Angeles, California, and sported tortoiseshell glasses and a black cloche hat. She paired the look with a full black ensemble, which highlighted her platinum blonde hair.

Would Judith Light Participate in a ‘Who’s the Boss’ Reboot?
Rumors of a Who’s the Boss reboot have gotten fans of the classic series curious about whether Light would return to reprise her role as Angela Bower. Last year, Milano, who played Tony’s daughter Samantha Micelli on the series, told Entertainment Tonight (https://www.etonline.com/alyssa-milano-shares-idea-for-whos-the-boss-reboot-with-tony-danza-exclusive-226364) that she thinks a reboot would be a great idea.
“I think it could be really funny because, in my head, Tony is gonna be the exact same character but everything around him is just changing and growing,” Milano told ET. “So I’m excited about the prospect. I think it could be really, really fun.”
But Light isn’t sure she'd be able to commit to the show just yet. However, she made it clear that she also can’t guarantee what will happen in the future.
“In terms of where I am and the workload that I have right now, I don’t know what my availability would be,” the actress told PEOPLE last year. “When I started my career, I said I’d never do a soap opera and I’d never do a sitcom,” she continued. “Well, I did both those things. Then I said I would never marry an actor. And I did just that. So, I learned to never say never.”
