Another Wally date crisis. A few weeks ago a too-tall date, now his date, Evelyn Boothby, decides to drive them to the dance. However, she surprises Wally with this news--he finds out when he looks out the window and sees her drive up.

Wally turns out to be right that the guys will give him the business, which they do as he and Evelyn arrive. But Lumpy turns up the heat after the dance, and boxes Evelyn's car in. As Lumpy's joke progresses, a sullen cop appears, and tickets Lumpy for being parked illegally, and other infractions. Meanwhile, Evelyn, Wally, and the other friends leave Lumpy to deal with the cop.
